2. Ethiopia was one of the first places in Africa to become modernized.

1. When Britain took control over India the indians had it worse off then they did before because instead of growing crops for their own people they now had to grow them for Britain too and they were running out of things for their people.

i wonder if Britain would have still be successful without India?
